Sun Safety
  • Apply sunscreen 1/2 hour before going out
  • Reapply every two hours
  • Avoid direct sun between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm
  • Use a broad spectrum sunscreen that protects against UVA and UVB rays
  • Use generous amounts covering every inch of exposed skin
  • Even cloudy days have dangerous UV rays
  • Use a minumum SPF of 15 unless you burn easily or have a family history of skin cancer
  • Newer products come in lighter gels and sprays
